Josh Weiss
Executive Pastor
Josh began serving as the Executive Pastor at Eastside in October 2021 after nine years on staff with Fellowship Memphis in a variety of operational and ministry roles, including multiple stints as a campus pastor, and he holds an M.Div. from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Josh desires for Eastside to be a “gospel greenhouse”—a place in which individuals increasingly view every area of their lives through the lens of the gospel, experience the warmth of Christ, and flourish in community as they share their joys, burdens, and very lives with one another. He longs for Eastside to be overwhelmed by the grace and generosity of a God who gives abundantly to His people and hopes that Eastside would respond to such grace by becoming a people who practices radical hospitality and moves toward the hurting and vulnerable in both our city and around the world.
He and his wife, Allison, both grew up in Memphis, began dating in high school (ask Allison to see pictures of his hair back then!), and were married in 2014. They have three kiddos, Cohen, Emerson and Quinn, and love all things coffee, working out (except running... Josh hates running...), and Friday Pizza Night with the kids.
