EASTSIDE KIDS seeks to equip an encourage the parents of our church as they point their children to the hope of the gospel and the goodness of Jesus in all things. We invest deeply in families of every stage and season and seek to create a culture that champions the New Testament idea of the “household of faith,” in which all members at Eastside – whether they have children or not – feel invited into the unique privilege and opportunity of spiritually parenting the children God has entrusted to the broader “family” of our church.
We do this primarily through:
Sunday Mornings:
While adults gather weekly for worship at 10am, children through fourth grade are invited to participate in our children’s classes. Staff and volunteers work together to create a fun and safe environment for children to spend time together playing and learning about Jesus. Leaders are currently teaching age-specific Christ-centered lessons from The Gospel Project curriculum.

Parent Equipping:
Through events such as Parents’ Weekend, Eastside regularly provides opportunities for parents to gather and discuss parenting issues. Our hope is that these events would provide community support for parents and train parents in how to raise up their children according to the Word of God.
